ISO 9001:2015 certification for Confirel until 2025

Confirel’s Kampong Speu palm sugar, Kampot pepper and Kampot pepper herbal tea productions have been declared ISO 9001:2015 compliant until 2025.

The certification process took place during the first half of 2022 and was conducted with the technical support and guidance of the German cooperation organization GIZ. Among other things, it required the training of Confirel’s management and relevant employees on the requirements of ISO 9001:2015 and an internal audit by GIZ. It also required the development of quality management system (QMS) documents. These documents include the quality policy, quality objective, relevant procedures, work instructions and forms.

During the audit, Confirel’s QMS documents were reviewed as well as the production area and production processes, storage and so on. The staff was also interviewed by the auditors. The achievement of this standard is a source of pride for Confirel’s teams. It shows their daily commitment to providing the company’s customers with safe, high quality products that comply with international regulatory requirements. It also represents a permanent challenge to be always up to the requirements of the company’s partners and final customers.
